Can Merchant Link assist me with PCI compliance, and help me reduce my PCI scope and costs?

Merchant Link offers the powerful combination of TransactionVault® / TransactionShield® tokenization and point-to-point encryption solutions. Together, these solutions encrypt cardholder data at the swipe and return inconsequential tokens to the point-of-sale and help organizations meet and exceed PCI compliance requirements by eliminating the need to store payment data on their network.

Ultimately, determining what is in and out of PCI scope for a merchant depends primarily on the systems and controls in place in the merchant’s environment as well as the assessment conducted by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). However, the PCI Security Standards Council has repeatedly acknowledged the ability of tokenization and point-to-point encryption to reduce the merchant’s cardholder data environment (CDE) and has released guidelines on both.
