Software Testing Leader

Duties:  Responsible for software systems testing and quality assurance of Merchant Link Payment related products and applications. Plan, develop and execute tests to promote software to production and client use. Perform certification tests with Payment Host, Processor, and Card-schemes as per EMV and Host requirements. Develop test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, and test scripts for both regression and host certifications. Act as key point of contact for all quality assurance aspects of releases, providing quality assurance services and eventually coordinating quality assurance resources internally and externally. Regress, isolate and report issues found during testing. Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause and provide detailed bug reports (via Jira). Work cross-functionally with product, service, operations and development as part of the software development lifecycle process. Identify needs and tools for test automation, test environments, reporting, and test management. Develop and execute performance and scalability tests. Plan, design and organize quality assurance projects. Improve the quality assurance and certification process. Improve technical and automation tools. Provide guidance and mentoring to team members.

Requirements: Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation.  Experience must include: working with electronic payment card systems with Visa, Mastercard, Amex and ISO8583 payment protocols; working with EMV/Chip card processing using acquirer or issuer side technical protocols, tags, and processing; programming automation using Python, C, Shell and test automation tools; working with Database SQL, XML, Soap and JSON; and experience performing test planning, automated testing and documentation, and defect management and reporting.
